Flood Control: FEMA Flood Zone Designation

For any questions regarding FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) flood zone designation and requirements for flood maintenance, please call Water Resources at (916) 478–2252. Please have the address and/or the parcel number (APN), for the property in question and your phone number. The following information will be provided in response to your request:

• FEMA Flood Zone Designation per FIRM (Flood Insurance Rate Map).
• The Community Number.
• The Panel Number.
• The Panel Effective Date.
• Any LOMR (Letter of map Revision) issued on the property and its effective date.
